The CL-M10 is Dengtai”s multi-section caged ladder system for tall structures. It is designed for access heights that exceed the practical limits of a single ladder section — typically 6 to 20 metres — with flanged bolted joints connecting each section and intermediate landing platforms providing rest points at 6-9 metre intervals.
What Makes This Model Different
- Multi-section with flanged joints: Sections connect via bolted flanges — no site welding required. Each flange connection is engineered for the full structural load of the sections above and below.
- Intermediate landing platforms: At 6-9m vertical intervals per OSHA and EN requirements. Each platform includes guardrails, non-slip grating, and a self-closing gate.
- 200 kg load rating: Higher than the standard 150 kg to account for the cumulative loading on taller structures and potential multi-user scenarios.
- Wind load engineered: For each project, Dengtai calculates wind loading per ASCE 7 or EN 1991-1-4 based on the installation height and exposure category. Bracket spacing may be reduced for tall or exposed installations.
When to Choose This Model
Choose the CL-M10 when your required access height exceeds 6 metres — the practical maximum for a single-section ladder. Typical applications: industrial chimneys, cooling towers, silos, refinery columns, tall equipment platforms, and any structure requiring vertical access above 6m.
Installation Planning
Multi-section ladders require more planning than single-section models. Key considerations: crane access for lifting sections into position (each section weighs 80-150 kg depending on length); platform landing attachment to the structure; and alignment of flanged joints during assembly. Dengtai provides a detailed installation sequence drawing with every order. Typical installation: 2-3 days for a 4-section ladder with 2 intermediate platforms.
