Product Overview
The CL-S10 is Dengtai”s standard caged ladder — the most commonly ordered model in our range. It is designed for general industrial and commercial vertical access applications where a safety cage is required and environmental conditions do not demand stainless steel.
This is the model most buyers start with. If you are unsure which variant you need, the CL-S10 in hot-dip galvanized finish is almost certainly the right choice for inland, non-coastal, non-corrosive environments.
What Makes This Model Different
- Single-section design: One continuous ladder section, 2-6 metres. No joints, no assembly — simpler, faster to install, fewer potential failure points.
- Q235B structural steel: The standard structural steel grade for fabrication. Excellent weldability, consistent mechanical properties, globally available.
- Hot-dip galvanized finish: Immersed in molten zinc at 450°C. Minimum 80 microns coating thickness. Provides 15-25 year corrosion protection in inland environments.
- Standard dimensions: 600mm clear width, 800mm cage diameter, 300mm rung and hoop spacing — compatible with all Dengtai accessories and mounting hardware.
When to Choose This Model
Choose the CL-S10 when: your ladder height is between 2 and 6 metres; the installation environment is inland, non-coastal, and non-corrosive; you need a standard industrial finish without architectural requirements; budget is a key consideration — this is our most cost-effective caged model at $30/m.
When NOT to Choose This Model
Do not choose the CL-S10 if: your installation is within 5km of the sea (upgrade to CL-SS316-STD); the ladder will be visible on a commercial building facade (upgrade to CL-S15 SS304 brushed); you need a height above 6m (upgrade to CL-M10 multi-section); or your facility handles food, pharmaceuticals, or corrosive chemicals (upgrade to CL-S15 or CL-SS316-STD).
Installation & Maintenance
Wall brackets at maximum 2.0m vertical intervals. Minimum 2 anchor bolts per bracket. Suitable for structural concrete, brick, and steel substrates. Annual visual inspection recommended: check bracket tightness, inspect for corrosion spots, verify cage hoop integrity. HDG coating in inland environments typically requires no maintenance beyond inspection for 15+ years.
